ASAP is a pioneer in WELL. Our team has helped to develop the WELL Building Standard since before it was released to the public in 2014. As consultants to both Delos and IWBI, ASAP continues to be at the forefront of the WELL movement as Consultants, Educators and Innovators.

The WELL Building Standard

The WELL Building Standard is a vehicle for buildings and organizations to deliver more thoughtful and intentional spaces that enhance human health and well-being. Backed by the latest scientific research, WELL includes strategies that aim to advance health by setting performance standards for design interventions, operational protocols and policies and a commitment to fostering a culture of health and wellness. Built on the pioneering foundation of the first version of the WELL Building Standard (WELL v1), WELL v2 draws expertise from thousands of WELL users, practitioners, medical professionals, public health experts and building scientists around the world. WELL spans 110 Features in 10 Concepts: Air, Water, Nourishment, Light, Movement, Thermal Comfort, Sound, Materials, Mind and Community.

Projects pursuing WELL Certification can earn points based on performance outcomes for various policy, design and operational strategies and can achieve one of four certification levels: Bronze, Silver, Gold or Platinum.

ASAP’s team members are represented on multiple Advisories including: WELL Portfolio, Community Concept, Air Concept, Industrial, Health-Safety Rating for Hotels & Resorts, Sports and Entertainment Venues, and more. Our team members are also WELL AP Exam reviewers and writers. Our Founder & CEO delivers WELL Portfolio trainings around the world in partnership with IWBI.

The ASAP Team has extensive experience with the WELL Building Pilots, WELL v1.0, WELL v2 Pilot, WELL v2, Portfolio, Community, and more. ASAP is able to provide a full spectrum of holistic WELL consulting services including: WELL Project Management; Design Team & Contractor WELL support services including preliminary assessment of WELL goals; facilitation of WELL charrettes; communication with all project stakeholders regarding the WELL process; maintenance of WELL scorecard; and management of the entire WELL registration, documentation, submittal, and certification process. ASAP is also able to provide WELL documentation for mechanical and electrical preconditions and features. A visible indication of confidence and trust, the WELL Health-Safety seal communicates to everyone entering your space that evidence-based measures have been adopted and third-party verified. In other words, seeing the seal outside means your customers, employees and visitors can feel safer going inside. ASAP had three of our Team members on the Task Force on COVID-19 and had already submitted more than 50 projects for Health-Safety Ratings by the end of 2019. The WELL Portfolio program is a comprehensive program that enables organizations to implement, assess, scale and celebrate proven wellness strategies that support the health and productivity of their people while benefitting their business. WELL Portfolio generates a WELL Portfolio Score based on feature achievement across the defined portfolio and does not require performance verification testing.
