Covid-19 Response

Preparation & Re-entry

ASAP understands that we are in unprecedented times and many organizations are searching for answers on how to respond to COVID-19. ASAP has been involved with the INTERNATIONAL WELL BUILDING INSTITUTE’S (IWBI) Places Matter initiative since inception as a speaker and thought leader. ASAP is also a member of IWBI’s global Task Force on COVID-19 and Other Respiratory Infections. Chaired by 22+ renowned global experts, and populated by 600 global thought leaders and authorities from across public health, medicine, design, real estate, government and academia; the Task Force both informs new Guidelines for Prevention & Preparedness, and Resilience & Recovery, while reviewing enhancements to the WELL Building Standard itself.

ASAP has also been an early implementor of IWBI’s Health-Safety Rating (HSR) with over 50 projects submitted for HSR in 2020 alone, and over 250 projects submitted in early 2021. The WELL Health-Safety Rating for Facility Operations and Management is an evidence-based, third-party verified rating for all facility types, focused on operational policies, maintenance protocols, emergency plans and stakeholder education to address a post-COVID-19 environment now and broader health and safety-related issues into the future.

Designed to empower owners and operators across large and small businesses alike to prioritize the health of staff, visitors and stakeholders, the WELL Health-Safety Rating can guide organizations in preparing spaces for re-entry during and post COVID-19. The WELL Health-Safety seal signifies a visible commitment to supporting the health of individuals in the space with third-party verification.

ASAP understands that the best time to start addressing your response and phased re-entry is now, when your building is at its lowest occupancy. This is why we have helped Clients submit more than 300 projects for the WELL Health-Safety Rating alone in the past few months. We work with Clients to personalize the best solution for your people and your budget.
