Office Administrator

Hannah Apple (LEED Green Associate) is a highly-driven professional with over 6 years of business management, sales, and operations experience. Her diverse background has enabled her to work in multiple roles, across various industries. Hannah’s passion for sustainability began at a young age where she was fortunate to grow up in a household where habits such as composting, recycling, and resourcefulness were a way of life.

Hannah attended The Ohio State University where she earned her Bachelors of Science in Business Management with a focus on Supply Chain & Logistics, and a minor in Design. Some of her favorite courses focused on sustainability in transportation and supply chain management, which she applied towards her first job out of college- working as a National Accounts Manager for a third-party logistics company based in Chicago. Hannah managed several accounts ranging from a small organic flour mill in Wisconsin, to the Pet Food & Care division of a multi-billion dollar company- striving towards finding backhauls and orchestrating shipments that filled trucks to capacity which helped reduce her clients’ environmental footprint.

In 2018, Hannah volunteered on organic farms in Colombia, Ecuador, and Chile through the Worldwide Opportunities on Organic Farms (WWOOF) organization. While on these farms, Hannah learned about bio-construction, and how to grow ecological gardens- aiding in resolving the issues surrounding biodiversity loss and food sovereignty. Hannah fell in love with the creative and sustainable practices these farmers incorporated and learned about what it means to be a part of a circular economy.

Upon moving to Los Angeles, Hannah decided to leverage her professional and volunteering experiences, and currently works for UsedCardboardBoxes/UCBZeroWaste- helping major US companies get Zero Waste to Landfill through reduction, reuse, and recycling. Hannah is a part of the USGBC-LA Westside Branch Steering Committee and Emerging Professionals. She also volunteers for LA Compost- bringing awareness on the importance of composting at home, and helping community gardens.

As the Office Administrator at ASAP, Hannah works directly with Jennifer and the Team supporting with all facets of the organization and business.
