Tierney Management LLC is a Southern California Consultant to Delos, founders of the WELL Building Standard; and has pioneered numerous projects for certification. Tierney has extensive background experience in major aspects of the commercial real estate and contract furniture industry. For over 25 years, Tierney has specialized in strategic selling, marketing, and networking; and has led numerous projects in business, including technology, entertainment, non-profits, education and government. Tierney educates on WELL Buildings and offers CEU workshops on the WELL Building Standard for Interior Designers and Architects.
Tierney Management, LLC is a strategic partner for United Interiors and Kimball. Tierney was previously the Southern California Business Development Director and Regional A and D Director for Haworth, Inc. Tierney has held other leadership positions in the Contract Furniture industry. Tierney co-founded and was Executive Vice President of Bozarth CM, an international commercial construction management company that represented CBRE National Account brokerage projects.
Tierney graduated from the Interior Designers Guild, Los Angeles, CA, after attending California State University, Northridge, majoring in commercial Interior Design. Tierney is on the board of the Los Angeles Business Council, is past President of the Downtown Los Angeles Breakfast Club and a member of the Urban Land Institute Advisory Board and co chair of the Building Healthy Communities Committee. Tierney is the co-Founding Chair of the LA Business Council Sustainability Summit and serves as co-chair of the Energy and Environment Committee, the Architectural Awards Committee and served on the steering committee that passed Green Building legislation in the City of Los Angeles.
